ZD Dance Academy 2018 - 2019 Policies

Registration
There is a registration fee, due at the time of enrollment for each session, for all New & Returning ZDDA Students. The initial registration fee includes one studio issued leotard and pair of shorts. All additional uniforms and shoes must be purchased separately.

Monthly Tuition
Monthly tuition rates are based on the number of the weekly class hours for which each student is enrolled. Tuition payments will be collected using an Automatic Debit System. A valid debit or credit card must be added to each families account before the registration process is complete and a dancer is formally enrolled in class. Tuition is to be paid in full on or before the 1st of each month. There will be five-day grace period extended. All outstanding tuition payments will be withdrawn on the 6th day of the month. There will be a $35 NSF fee added to the accounts where payment is declined. Students whose tuition payments have not successfully been processed by the 7th day of the month will NOT be permitted to participate in class until the account has been brought current, including all past due tuition charges and associated fees. Tuition will be prorated for those students enrolling during an active month. See the tuition rates HERE.

Dancers are required to be dressed in the standard ZDDA uniform for all of their classes. The foundation of the uniform is a Purple Tank or Short-sleeved Leotard (Studio Issued) and solid black dance shorts (solid black leggings are permitted during the colder months). Attendance
In order to ensure steady growth, parents should make every effort possible to have their dancer(s) present for class weekly. It is also imperative that dancers consistently arrive on time and ready to work. This will ensure that dancers are able to warm-up effectively which will prevent injury. Dancers who miss a significant amount of class or extra rehearsals may not be permitted to perform in the End-of-Year Recital. Please note that make up classes will only be offered in instances where class is cancelled by ZD Dance Academy. There will be no tuition reimbursements, prorations, or credits issued for missed classes. Parents, who wish to withdraw students must do so IN WRITING, 30 days prior to departure. Please note that tuition must still be paid during the 30 day withdrawal period. All accounts must be at a zero balance at the time of departure or legal actions maybe taken.

Yearly Recital Information
Historically the yearly recital is held on the first weekend in June. The tentative date for this year's performance is June 1st & 2nd.
